Food for the conference – inside or out

The food served at Gl. Skovridergaard is in a class of its own, offering high-quality culinary experiences. We take pride in preparing delicious food that is easy on the stomach and gives the participants the energy they need to absorb new knowledge. You can rest assured that every meal is made using fresh – and ideally local – seasonal produce. 

Al fresco dining

If you wish to dine away from the hotel in connection with a meeting or a conference, we will happily take care of the food and all the practicalities. Perhaps a luxury buffet served on one of the Hjejlen boats? Or a picnic hamper packed with delicious specialities for a trip in the countryside? All break refreshments can also be enjoyed outside in the grounds and on our terraces.

The restaurant or a separate room

The beautiful, bright restaurants Kursalen and Orangeriet both overlook the grounds and open directly onto their own separate terraces. The terraces really come into their own in early spring and during the summer. Breakfast, lunch and course dinners are served in Kursalen, but if, for example, you would like to combine the conference or annual meeting with a party, we would be more than happy to book Kursalen just for you.

Restaurant Orangeriet is our à la carte restaurant, where we serve a relaxed gourmet experience, so why not round off your meeting with a wonderful 5-course dinner? Dinner can begin with a visit to the wine cellar, where you select the wines to accompany the evening’s meal. 

If you would like to enjoy a barbecue on the terrace, we will be happy to arrange this for you, weather permitting.
